The story of a young guy Omar from the Dagestani village Novolakskoye, whose parents tried to marry him with a girl from a very good family. To avoid the wedding, Omar makes up that he works at Gazprom and leaves for Moscow. At the station, Omar meets a taxi driver, Oleg, and from that moment on, his tragicomic adventures in the big city begin.

When a carefree woman learns that her closeted friend is gay, the two form an inseparable bond and find comfort in each other's company.

The story is set in New York which is lit up with Christmas lights.
